Tet Offensive at Tactical Paintball in Harwood

This is going to be a great game! All the info you'll need to get you started can be found at this link:

http://tacticalpaintball.com/

Tacticalpaintball presents the Tet Offensive.
During the Vietnam War, the Tet Offensive became known as the turning point for America's involvement in the region.
Us forces were surprised and caught off guard by the massive and general attacks of the Viet Cong. Many US commanders were unaware or unwilling to believe the Viet Cong could coordinate and pull so many attacks in so many places. Militarily, the Tet Offensive , ended the Viet Cong as a viable fighting force. Nevertheless, the US public as well as many in the media and political circles decided the US was no longer capable of winning in Vietnam. Even though the fighting forces of the US Military never lost a major battle, public opinion made all the difference.

Come join the battle as the US forces defend multiple bases and installations against an all out general attack by the VC. Run recon, patrols, ambush, and defensive missions to come out on top.
Tacticalpaintball’s field is 122 acres of pure adrenalin. With massive pyrotechnics, special effects, multiple bases, a MOUT site. 2 Huey Helicopters, Tanks and more this game will prove to test the best paintball warrior.
Game will run 10 am until 10 pm on Saturday Oct 11th. Oct 10th. (Friday) watch movies on the big screen, meet and greet the players, visit the many hospitality tents of the teams playing, camp cook and a blast. This is a game you don’t want to miss.

Registration package includes:
Registration, ID Card, Game T-Shirt, Dinner Meal ( Saturday) All weekend AIR and CO2, Free camping, Free play on Sunday 1st case of paint ( 2000) count, Free WiFI, and entry into a priz3e drawing worth thousands.

all the best,
Drunkenmaster

P.S. As a side benefit, some of the proceeds will go to a great guy and fellow paintball player, Sean "Spyro" Riggs.

Austin Missions on Hiatus!

Greetings again, everyone!

I'm sure some of you have heard through the proverbial grapevine, but we want to post here so everyone officially gets word of what's going on. The Austin Missions series is currently on indefinite hiatus. This is mainly due to it being the Summer season and the fact that it's pretty hard to get folks out in the Texas heat and humidity.

So, I know it's a bummer, but keep checking back at this space if you're interested in what we (the Austin Missions staff) are up to. Just FYI, some of us are going to Oklahoma DDay this year. If any of you readers out there are going, feel free to drop us a line and maybe we'll see you up there!

Best wishes, y'all, and we hope to see you all again soon!

Austin Mission Bravo Pictures

Hey everyone!
Here are the pictures for Austin Mission Bravo: Bedlam in the Balkans! Somehow we have lost the first camera so we only have two cameras worth of pics for this event. The first camera was mostly of the staging area and the beginning 2-3hours. Hopefully we will fiind it but right now it is MIA. Take a look:

Austin Mission Bravo is in the BAG!

Hey All,

I just want to thank everyone who attended Austin Mission Bravo: Bedlam in the Balkans. CPT Maverick and CPT Walker duked it out but in the end the VDV forces of Krasnovia took the day.

The final score being 305 KN to 135 US.

Personally, I want to thank the Team Captains and XOs from each side for putting up a great fight. Up until about 1530 it was still anyone's game and CPT Walker's forces dug deep to push the US Paratroopers of the 82nd farther and farther back. A special shout out goes to all the roleplayers and Refs who came out to support the event. Especially Jon Pena (aka Ambassador Norland among others), Ben Kimball (Diplomatic Security Agent, Sheik "Al", Pilot LT Franklin among others), Joe and Steph, Ashley, my wife Lana (Kommissar Major Zenya) and extra special thanks to Jen for handling all the registration nightmares. Further thanks goes out to all the TEAMS that participated in the event (MAST, Total Insanity, XIII Legion Infidels, COBRA, UT Paintball, Hell's Hammer, Renegade Legion, Ronin Recon, Shadow Company, Black List, Corporal Punishment, Warthogs, and any other teams that I might have missed!)

Pictures are on the way as soon as I get them developed. Stay tuned for further updates!

Getting Down to the Wire

Hey All,

We are about 3 days from gameday. I hope everyone is excited about the big scenario and the plans we have. I understand that more buidlings have been built and that some have been improved since last time. There will also be lots of FREE water out there on the field to help prevent any heat injuries. We have pyro, smoke, and all sorts of prop goodies to unload on you as well as plenty of grenades available for sale at the TOC. One last thing: Here is the map for the event. Note the points of interest and grid coordinates included and the changes from Mission Alpha.

I look forward to meeting and greeting everyone on the day of the event. See you there!

Last Day for PRE-REGISTRATION

Hey All,

Just a reminder that TODAY is the last day to pre-register at the $25 event price for Austin Mission Bravo. We will still be taking walk-ons and they are more than welcome but the event price will be $35 at the door. I hope to see everyone there from last time. The field has been improved, there are a few more buildings to deal with, we will have smoke, pyro, simulated Airborne Insertions, more props, more special ops, and more missions not to forget 15min insertions! Mission Bravo will be an unforgetable event!

Home Stretch Update!

Greetings again, everyone!

We're in the home stretch of preparations for Austin Mission Bravo! If you've pre-registered, you should be receiving emails from our staff (if you haven't already).

This is a last-minute note to let everyone know that our pre-registration deadline has been confirmed. It is midnight of 27APR. As of that time, our pre-registration website will stop taking registrations. Folks registering on 03MAY (at the event) will be charged $35, as was mentioned previously.

On another note, if you intend to bring paintball mines, please read our rules on them at the following link:
http://austinmissionscenario.blogspot.com/2008/03/official-rules-for-mission-bravo.html(you can get some rules clarifications here as well: http://austinmissionscenario.blogspot.com/2008/04/rules-faq-posted.html)

In either of those blog posts, click on the link at the top of the post to download the file!

Most importantly, you MUST BRING PAINTBALL MINES TO A MISSION COORDINATOR BEFORE USING THEM! I can't stress this enough for safety reasons.

As an aside, note that we're not allowing NERF LAW rocket launchers. They don't even have an effect in our rules.

Thanks so much to everyone who's pre-registered and who has helped or assisted us in any way leading up to this event. We're really looking forward to getting out there and having a great time with everyone!

best regards, and see you on the field,DrunkenmasterKrasnovian Mission Coordinator - The Austin Missions
