OPFOR Creed


This is the creed for the 11th Armored Cav Regiment, the professional OPFOR of the US Army. I thought that everyone should have a read of this as it contains many values for Scenario Players. Read on!
OPFOR CREED
No soldier is more professional than I. I am an Opposing Force Soldier of the 2nd Brigade Tactical Group, 1st Brigade Tactical Group, or the 11th Division Tactical Group - Trainers of the United States Army.As an Opposing Force Soldier, I will remain constantly aware of the Opposing Force's special and primary responsibility for safety and will never commit an unsafe act.I will conduct tactical operations faithfully in accordance with Krasnovian doctrine, never cheating or condoning cheating by the fellow Opposing Force Soldiers.I will set the example for tactical excellence, discipline, military courtesy, and esprit de corps and never engage in gamesmanship to gain the advantage.I will strive to safeguard the Opposing Force's hard-earned reputation for tactical excellence and professionalism, deterring the negative aspirations of sniveling, complaining, or arguing.I pledge to fight to the limit of my endurance in every mission to guarantee the success of the Opposing Force. I will always reflect a special pride in performing the unique mission of training the United States Army for war as part of the National Training Center team. I will never forget my responsibility to be a Soldier of integrity, who adheres to the Rules of Engagement and maintains his equipment to the best of his ability, always remaining fit to fight, trained to win, and combat ready.Finally, I will conduct myself at all times as a proud member of the United States Army's best trained mechanized fighting force. As such, I will consistently demonstrate my professionalism, esprit de corps, and motivation by saluting, with pride, my opponents at every opportunity. I will never boast about my accomplishments or make derogatory comments about the rotational units undergoing training at the National Training Center.I will not forget, nor will I allow my comrades to forget, that we are professional Opposing Force Soldiers of the 2nd Brigade Tactical Group and 1st Brigade Tactical Group and the 11th Division Tactical Group - trainers of the United States Army."ALLONS, For Country, Ironhorse, Eaglehorse, Packhorse, Sir!"
